Cerro Calero Empowerment Project
Olita (webpage), a clothing brand with headquarters in Puerto Rico and mainland US, believes in empowerment. They enact change by empowering those less fortunate to develop a sustainable means to improve their community. They do this by using 10% of your purchases to fund empowerment projects.
Together, Olita and Shaman Elect are partnering to combine the power of music with an empowerment project. We need your help (see below), and it starts with 250 t-shirts.
Cerro Calero is a community in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico full of humble people, eager for opportunities. It is located in one of the most strategic tourist destinations on the island. With more than 10 abandoned houses and structures, it has been oppressed by a blindfolded municipal administration mindset.
We seek to change this, starting with the transformation of an abandoned house into a hostel run by locals, protecting and fostering in the process their passions, culture, and integrity.
Join us and wear an Olita shirt and share in our project.
